July 27, 2001--I added a very unusual "Tips" page to my awards program. Just visit the "Win Award" page and click on "Tips" for a different approach to viewing submitted websites.

September 12, 2001--This is the moment I've prepared for all year. CW Awards Program received an upgrade to a 4.5 rating at Award Sites!

February 24, 2002--Circus World has a new header.......thanks to Nikki. And today while visiting the circus, I noticed over 8,000 hits since its creation.

May 4, 2002--I have to shut down my Award Program for a while. We are preparing to move into a new residence, hopefully by June 1st. Circus World Award Program will be back online as soon as we settle in.

June 17, 2002--It's over. We're all settled into the new place. Circus World Awards Program is now back in full swing.

September 19, 2002--A very sad day for me. My dog, Keesha, who I've had for 15 years, passed away. She will be missed and was loved very much. You can see Keesha's picture on the Zoo page.

January 1, 2003--Gosh, was I ever busy towards the last part of 2002. I have added the new award graphics to the Circus World Award Program. You can see them by clicking on the Win Awards link on the left. The award graphics for 2003 are simply gorgeous.

January 20, 2003--New look for everything......check it out. This is version 6 of Circus World, and the best so far, at least in my opinion.

July 26, 2003--Today I laid down a bad habit I've had for years......smoking. I hope I stick it out.

February 22, 2004--Still going strong in the anti-smoking campaign I started last July. In a couple of days, it will be 7 months of being able to breath clean air.

July 26, 2004--ONE YEAR TODAY!!!!! Yep, it's been a year and I'm still going strong on the anti-smoke campaign.

August 19, 2004--jansown.com has decided to sponsor a co-workers coed softball team. Hope they win a trophy. GO jansown.com!!!!!

September 29, 2004--My team of ballplayers won the plaque. It will be displayed in my daughter's restaurant.

January 1, 2005--Starting my 6th year online with my Circus World. I can't believe time has flown by so fast. I've spent the past few months addicted to Ebay.

December 10, 2005--Youngest got married tonight. Hope she's in for a lifetime of happiness.

April 26, 2006--Traveled all the way to Alabama for my mom's 80th birthday. She was really surprised.

December 9, 2006--Made my first little bit of money making 2 websites. Paradise Cove Bengals and Beach Tree Bengals. Visit these 2 wonderful sites if you get a chance.

April 25, 2007--I finished scanning my childhood slides and placing them on a DVD. The DVD will be shipped to my mom, sister, and brother. It was an emotional endeavor. I cannot count the number of times my eyes got teary.

July, 2007--Bought a 1973 volkswagen. I plan on fixing it up and make it a show car. I'll do so til I can no longer afford it.

December, 2007--I have just finished with my girls Christmas. Both are receiving a book of their personal pictures made by shutterfly after my input. They'll both also receive a DVD of their "life", which should be interesting on how the 2 of them will take it.
